The HUB 360 App Based Delivery Platform - Helping Logistics Personnel Stay Safe From COVID-19

While most of Ireland’s population is being kept at home during the current Coronavirus pandemic, its logistics network is still very much up and running. Risking their lives every day, Ireland’s delivery drivers and warehouse workers are performing a vital role by keeping our supermarkets and pharmacies stocked. 

What can help immensely in this scenario is HUB 360’s app-based software system that helps logistics workers stay a safe distance away from each other. Minimising face-to-face interaction throughout the entire delivery process, all users from drivers to the customers are able to take care of all necessary paperwork via our centralised app-based delivery management system.

Step 1 - Contactless Order Loading

During the order loading phase of the delivery process, the load details can be sent to the picker via their ‘picker app’ and once everything has been done, a confirmation message is sent back via the central management system - all with no paper or face to face interaction whatsoever.

Step 2 - The Drivers App

Next, the load details are sent to the drivers app using contactless technology, so that he or she knows exactly what’s been loaded onto their vehicle and precisely where it’s going. Another step of the delivery process that our delivery system allows to occur with no human contact.

Step 3 - Contactless POD

The last step of the delivery process involves the end customer signing for their goods. It’s something that the HUB 360 digital delivery system also allows to happen whilst still adhering to social distancing guidelines. The customer is able to sign for their order via the app, meaning that the entire delivery from picking to POD is complete with no one needing to put themselves at risk.
